PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The client stated a need for additional classroom space and new administrative facilities as well as a new entrance into the building. The addition was to be a subtle, low key design, compatible with the existing building. A new strong entry was developed since district offices were to be moved to the new administrative portion of the building. The detail in the masonry was designed to break up the large masonry mass of the classroom wing. The addition was very successful by creating a focal point for the school district while adding valuable classroom space.
